In Which Industries is FRP Grating Mainly Used?   Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) grating is a composite material that combines polyester resin with reinforcing glass fibers. This material is known for its high strength-to-weight ratio, durability, and corrosion and chemical resistance. Due to these properties, FRP grating is widely used in various industries as follows.   1. Industrial and Manufacturing 2. Marine and Offshore 3. Water and Wastewater Treatment 4. Chemical Processing 5. Mining and Metals 6. Transportation 7. Other Industries that require corrosion protection   Specific Applications   1.  Flooring and Walkways: FRP grating is used for flooring, walkways, and platforms in factories and manufacturing plants.   2. Stair Treads: Provides safe, non-slip surfaces for stairs in industrial environments.   3. Equipment Platforms: Used to construct platforms and mezzanines around heavy machinery and equipment.   4. Ship Decks and Ramps: Used on ships for decks, ramps, and walkways due to its resistance to saltwater.   5. Offshore Oil Platforms: Provides durable and safe walkways, stairs, and platforms on offshore rigs.   6. Dock and Pier Surfaces: Utilized for surfaces exposed to constant marine conditions.   7. Screens and Covers: Provides durable covers for channels and pits.   8. Drainage Grates: Used in areas requiring efficient drainage and slip resistance.   9. Safety Barriers: Used to create barriers around hazardous areas.   FRP grating is a versatile material that offers numerous advantages across a range of industries. Its unique properties, including corrosion resistance, high strength-to-weight ratio, and low maintenance requirements, make it an ideal choice for applications in industrial and manufacturing, marine and offshore, water and wastewater treatment, chemical processing, mining and metals, and transportation sectors.

  • Application of vinyl resin monolithic electrolytic cell
Application of vinyl resin monolithic electrolytic cell

Application of vinyl resin monolithic electrolytic cell   Epoxy vinyl ester resin has a special molecular structure and has better corrosion resistance and temperature resistance than epoxy resin and unsaturated polyester resin. It is widely used in anti-corrosion projects in chemical, energy, smelting, biology, medicine, electronics, power and other industries, especially in the non-ferrous smelting industry of metal copper. Due to its production process requirements in the wet electrolysis process, a higher concentration of electrolyte is required. The crude copper plate is electrolyzed under certain temperature conditions to obtain refined copper. This process requires the equipment for storing the electrolyte to have higher corrosion resistance and higher impact resistance.     Copper smelting electrolyte usually uses sulfuric acid and copper sulfate as mother liquor. Cathode refined copper is obtained by electrolyzing anode copper at 60~80 degrees. The electrolyte is highly corrosive. In the early days, concrete electrolytic cells were usually used, and vinyl resin was used to make FRP lining anti-corrosion layer to protect the concrete tank body. However, after long-term immersion in electrolyte and collision of electrolytic plates, the FRP lining anti-corrosion layer is easily damaged and protection fails. The service life is as short as 1~2 years and as long as 3~5 years.   The vinyl resin electrolytic cells used and produced by our company not only have good corrosion resistance and anti-penetration characteristics, but also have better impact resistance, maintenance-free and long service life cycle advantages compared with conventional fiberglass lined concrete electrolytic cells.

In What Areas Can FRP Pultruded Profiles Be Used?
    May 15, 2024

In What Areas Can FRP Pultruded Profiles Be Used?   Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) pultruded profiles are made through a pultrusion process, where continuous fibers are impregnated with resin and pulled through a heated die to form a rigid, lightweight composite material. They are becoming increasingly popular across industries due to their outstanding strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion and environmental factors.   1. Construction and Infrastructure   Structural Beams and Columns: FRP pultruded profiles are used as beams and columns in construction projects, providing a strong yet lightweight support structure. Railings and Fences: Due to their durability and low maintenance, they are ideal for railings and fencing in public and private infrastructure.     2. Industrial Applications   Ladders and Platforms: Used in the fabrication of ladders, walkways, and platforms in industrial environments. Cable Trays: Provide support for cable management systems, ensuring safe and orderly electrical installations. Chemical Processing Plants: Used for structures and supports that must withstand corrosive chemicals and harsh industrial environments.   3. Marine and Offshore   Decks and Floors: Used on decks, floors, and walkways on ships, docks, and offshore platforms. Handrails and Ladders: Provide durable and corrosion-resistant solutions for marine environments.     4. Transportation   Railway Components: Used in the manufacture of rail platforms and other rail infrastructure. Automotive Parts: Used in the production of lightweight and durable vehicle components, including frames and structural supports. Public Transportation: Used in the construction of bus and train components, such as floors and seat supports.   5. Electrical and Telecommunications   Pole: FRP pultruded profiles are used in the manufacture of utility poles and transmission towers. Enclosures and Cabinets: Provide durable and non-conductive enclosures for electrical and telecommunications equipment.   Our company can customize and produce pultruded profile products of various shapes, specifications and uses according to the specific requirements of customers. The quality is good and the price is very competitive. You are welcome to call us for consultation.
